Fab... buying a new one tonight for my D60... MEGA excited:) Hope the weather holds out!

Did you take any shots then?

cracking lens, enjoy!!

great lens enjoy look forward to you images

Well here's a couple of test shots I've done, this lens is so totally amazing I'm overwhelmed!!!! I really need to get out and find some nice subjects.

This is the front of the house, full 10mm, standing about 30feet from the house!! obviously a little bit of hdr to make it look gaudy!!!!!

This one was taken from about 5 inches away, I'm surprised it focused to be honest!!

nice job, going to have to talk the mrs money to see about getting a few extra goodies..
1st job is to learn how to use my camera :)

Hey Dinger,

You'll be fine, I only got my D40 just before christmas, and now I love it!!!

It took a while to understand f numbers and shutter speeds, but I used this handy little site to help understand it all http://dryreading.com/camera/index.html you may like to have a look.

Cheers

I think you mean "Sorry, but the correct spelling is Lens" :bang: ;)

I won't do it again...Promise. :D

Thanks for your comments Astraeus

Hi sdb123, i did think about it, but didn't think were particularly superb shots, and also they only really relate to this LENS thread.

Ah, but that's a general photo section. You'll find loads of threads with the title "First shots with", etc. Go on! ;)

Yes, you'll be fine. Only had my D60 since December :) !!!

Good choice in lens.

May as well take no other lens out with you now.

Ever since i got my 10-22, it's been stuck to the camera, only coming off twice for some portraits.

The danger of super-wides - the bird table obscures the car. ;)

That's a very valid point there Voyager, didn't even spot it. In fact I'd go as far as saying that the bird table should have been moved out of shot!

Thanks for the comment. I'm more than happy to receive good or bad!!!

Apart from the bird table what do you think of the colour, and general compo.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the clouds work quite well????

do you know something, that damn bird table is really bugging me now!!!!! when ever I look at that pic now, all I can see is the bird table!!!!

all you people posting shots from this lens is making me impatient! haha

Looks fine to me.

Every estate agent needs a w-i-d-e lens like this (and a bubble level)!

lol, just glad i'm not an estate agent!!!

having said that, if I don't find something interesting to take a photo of I could quite easily be labelled one!!!!!
