I am SO sick and tired...

I was being kind chris -and deducting 10 years :p

The version I heard was that they didn't want to put their prices up so they reduced the amount of chocolate so that their customers don't have to pay too much for it.

How considerate, bless 'em.

69p for a twirl blows that theory out of the water

Really? I thought they were just as bad for it over here as at home.

Not that it bothers me too much, one less reason to consume the chemical ****storm that passes for 'chocolate' these days.

You'd be right :)

But try chocolate from Coffee Works in Mareeba ;) you'll thank me if you ever get the chance... Their coffee is pretty damned special too...

Hahaha ever tried Brown Dog in woolloongabba? Only place I found worthy in brisbane...

:p charlatan.... you haven't had it anywhere I go then!

Not been up there much to be fair. Gold Coast (don't expect much there, just happy if it doesn't have steroids in it), Cairns and Port Douglas (I think they blame it on the tropical climate making it hard to brew :D ). Was up in Brisbane for work last month, but didn't get to leave the hotel/convention centre - so I won't judge.

There are two places that are worth it (depending on the staff who are on) in Cairns. Can't recommend Bang & Grind on Spence St highly enough (I'm there daily), and they take the time to make it to your specifications no matter how fussy you are. Rehab on the corner of lake st & spence st can be good and they are coffee puritans too.

I agree entirely about the gold coast though! :D

I dunno why she's being so coy, everyone knows he's 62

You really don't know me do you Pete, coy is not a word anyone would use when describing me :D

But you obviously don't how fed up the queen is when sending hm telegrams, it's cost her a fortune, no wonder she's broke ;):p
