I am Looking for Blank DVD supplier

There's a good one in Plympton on the outskirts of Plymouth.
 
SVP, as previously suggested, are very good. Fair pricing and good selection, plus lots of user reviews too. I find that if you buy in quantity, then you get particularly good value for money, otherwise the delivery costs wipe out any savings you may make over local suppliers (e.g. supermarkets, electrical stores etc)

Where do it was for 50? its not got that there at all as for prices I have at moment it £11.63 for 100 but need it lower if possible
 
Chaz, try UKDVDR. They have a good range and decent prices. I have used them a few times and the service is good.

it seems to be that about £10.50 per 100 is the going rate amongst the computer component sites (EBuyer, Scan, etc)

This is pretty cheap, why do you need cheaper? I mean, a thousand DVD's is a LOT of DVD's and if you manage to save £1 per tub you'll save a grand total of £10.... hardly worth the effort.

If you're in the market for 20 or more tubs of DVD's, Ebuyer has a sliding scale right down to £9.18 if you buy 100+ tubs (thats a lot!)

Unless you're buying some serious volumes in which case you should be speaking direct to Ricoh, Verbatium, etc. (the manufacturers) as you'll probably be buying more than most divisions of Staples/PC World, etc

I usually buy Verbatim Japan disks for their better quality over cheap disks, I have tried and used pretty much everything when it comes to recordable disks due to other hobbies I have had in the past. Verbs are expensive usually £10 for 50 from cheaper places but £15 for 50 and £30 for 100 from normal shops but finding bogof deals crop up quite often at the likes of staples, maplin and makro making them pretty cheap at £15 for 100 decent DVDr.

So still expensive considering you want them 9p or less but I know that what ever I put on these disks will still be readable 10 - 15 years down the line. Some of the first DVDr I bought were cheap because back then they were expensive so I was trying them all, I had done the same with CDr before and the better disks still read now, I lost a lot disks by TDK and they weren't the cheap ones mainly due to delamination of the layers the Sony disks that cost £1.30 each still work the TDK ones were about 90p each. But disks no longer cost those prices thankfully but as in photography you get what you pay for.

:thumbs: for Verbatim but check country of mfg, no price difference.
Japan best, Taiwan ok or India only if you have to.

As said check Staples & Maplins, also give Sainsburys & the £ shops a look see.

If low price is your buying criteria rather than decent quality & longevity then it's local computer fair or SVP or UKDVDR

How long they last is not a question not wanting them to go 10 - 15yrs price and work in most DVD players is all that's needed
 
Another one here for SVP unless it is just a small order in which case I just pick them up from scan.

The thing I have never had an issue with Verbs and I have an old school sony DVD player that does moan at cheaper disks.
 
Also give your local Tesco a look, Maxell - & + 10pk for 50p and Kodak are around £6.50 for 50.
