I am having great trouble figuring out what to buy

I have a Venus 300 light kit. Just the two heads at the moment, and I have them with the two umbrellas. I want to purchase a beauty dish, a 80-100cm softbox, and some honeycomb grid reflectors.

I can't, for the life of me, work out what fits what. Nothing seems to reference my venus range. It's all "stellar" "s fit" "stellar fit" "s range" blah blah

I'm in England, and I would be really, really appreciative if someone could point me to the items I listed that will definitely fit my Venus lights.

Who makes them?

Interfit make the Stellar range and the fitting on those is an S type fitting which is the same as Bowens and Lencarta.
 
Oh, yes, sorry, venus are made by interfit. It's a lighting range they do.

I'm still none the wiser after reading your comment. I feel so stupid, I just cannot wrap my head around what products I need for my light set
 
AliB, you are a great man, so I can purchase anything with an S Type fit?
 
Garry's the man you want, as opposed to Ali, who's not a man at all. (I made that mistake ;) )

My experience is cheap softboxes are hard to put up and take down if that's important to you. Lastolite are good in that respect. Lencarta are mail-order only, nice gear. Elinchrom won't fit. A few here for you http://www.warehouseexpress.com/category/basecategory.aspx?cat03=3109
 
b****r, wish I'd come back to this thread earlier! I've ordred a lastolite pro octobox 120cm x 120cm

Hope I haven't made a bad purchase. Thanks for the link though, now I know for next time.
