I agree with the Daily Mail. That's a sentence I never expected to write.
So I've been doing some research into the reasons for the increasing suicide rate in the UK, and the link that many charities and organisations are making between suicide rates and the coalition's welfare reforms. In the spirit of openness, I am a Labour Party member and was looking for evidence to support this theory from the usual left leaning sources. But to get some balance, I thought I should see what the 'other side' make of it. So the Daily Mail seemed a good place to start to get a 'cough' right of centre view. And I found this:

Well, it must be bad if the Daily Mail thinks that the situation is unacceptable. I was waiting for the article to blame the suicides on immigrants or the EU but they managed to not go there. I did think it was a bit rich the article criticising red top tabloids for using the term scroungers, as the Mail has done more than it's fair share in demonising welfare recipients, but overall I found that I could utter the phrase..... I agree with the Daily Mail. Don't think I'll get a t-shirt printed though with that on.
UKIP have released their manifesto...might pop over and have a read as at this rate there could be something I agree with, and ooooooh.....look at that flying pig.
So the question for this thread is have you ever received support or help for your view from an unexpected or unlikely source?
