Hyster's 52 (Night added)

Liking the 2nd one but absolutely loving your 3rd one - brilliant, great perspective and great humour

Like Simon - can't wait to see your surprise one :D

Week 4

Surprise

3240735803_163cc8f0a1_b.jpg

Simple, colourful, well thought out and bloody scary :)

That makes me wince :D

Nice one and a touch evil :D

Great idea....

I'll never look at a apple again without thinking of this shot...

You have a extraordinary imagination...

Great shot, really stands out against the black background and the blade is a good size big enough to be noticed but not so big it spoils the surprise idea.:clap::clap:

That one actually made me cringe!
Very well executed shot - I like how you used a very red apply on a black background. Adds to the sinister nature of it!

Oh oww..... That's worked really really well, but not something that you'd want to ever get.

What an imagination :notworthy: not only is the picture a great interpretation of the theme it's scary, sharp, punchy and I wonder why Eve didn't think of that :lol::lol:

Great capture and an incredible demonstration of creativity :clap:

Ooer - that could hurt  Very sharp and clear

Aha out of the box :) Love it

What a brilliant twist to turn it that way - mind boggling :) Nicely controlled light and background too!

:clap::clap:

Yes very good imagination...well thought out shot, my only small criticism is I would have liked to see the two glass bottoms.

But even so that's still a great interpretation...

Very nice, I like the way the full glass allows the cuts in the crystal to stand out.:clap:

I could just tuck into that now as well!!

Nice effort, my only suggestion would be to have had the darker graduation of the background at the bottom rather than at the top as that would have added a bit of balance to the image and contrasted against each of the glasses.

I agree, it's a great take on the theme and works very well

You've really got your creative head on at the moment. The apple shot is very clever and very well executed with great detail and colour

Like the opposites shot too. Great interpretation

Week 6

Special
He is 40years old, belonged to my brother in law and then my wife, he was then passed to both my daughters, one of which picked most of his fur off! Everyone argues about who owns him, everyone claims him as their own.

I'm the only one who lays no claim to him but even I know he is more of a family member than a toy.

He is old and saggy and far too fragile even to even risk washing now, he was guardian, protector, playmate and builder of immune systems judging by the colour of him but he most definitely is....

Special

.....well, in this household anyway.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you, SunnyBunny :D

IMG_7340-Edit.jpg

What an incredibly endearing bunny he is, too. He's looks very well loved and somehow manages to remind me of the scruffier of my 2 Yorkie Terriors.:D That's a compliment, btw - he's very endearing, too.

No wonder bunny's so special and I can see why 'everybody' owns him. I think for his own safety you should have care and custody. :)

The background carpet colour works really well against Sunnybunny's fur/skin and I love the way he's waving at us all.

:wave::wave::wave: Hi - Sunybunny.

Jean

Well personally I feel that to save any further arguments and distress to your family, you should pop him in the post to me asap!! :naughty:

Absolutely luuurrrve this image and adore the way you have him unsupported standing and waving. I bet that took some doing.

well done :clap::clap::clap:

will make up a bed for his arrival :D :D

:wave::wave::wave: Hi - Sunybunny.

Jean

So agree with this! What a bunny :)

Great the way he almost looks alive :)

Third special cuddly bunny/teddy so far I believe this week - how much do they mean to us eh? :)

Great shot , well executed :)!

Great shot, and wonderful tale to go with him. Keep him safe.

I like this little bunny...

Looks well loved...great how you taught him to walk and wave...

Very fiiting for this weeks subject...

Aw - that picture is making me want to wave back...

Hi Sunnybunny

As everyone has already said - the background colour works well and having him standing up works brilliantly

What a great take on the theme :D

He looks so happy and I love the way he's unsupported and waving

Good Dof and the colour combination really works

One tiny nigglette, I'd like to see a little more space at the top of the picture as he looks a little squashed there.

Good work, and I'm enjoying following your journey

Week 7

Crowds

Feel like I've wimped out a bit this week, went into town with the intention to catch my crowd shot in the Saturday rush, I took some really poor efforts.I really felt self conscious and after persisting for a while I decided on trying to catch a shot from the top of a shopping centre, I got stopped by security :D

Back to the car I traipsed and headed home, tonight I have taken this, Its as near to a crowd as I'm going to get now I'm afraid.

Its a Circle of friends, think its a Mexican good luck thing.

This week I found out I am pants at street photography, don't know why it was a shock but it was. Going to have to try to turn Saturdays experience around by having another crack at it. I'm starting to see a reoccurring theme with my pics, I'm fine as long as I can control the situation and street photography just pulls me out of my comfort zone.

Enough of my prattling,

Crowd.jpg

it's a dark shot, but it's clear what this is about and I like it. The warmth of the flame lighting the friends crowded round is good

Well you got the shot in for this weeks subject, so not all bad...

It actual works quite well it's a shame about the dark head in the shot, but I can't see how you could get around this from that angle...

Still we all have another chance to struggle with this weeks theme so hang in there...

Good luck for this week...:)

It's a 'different' shot (that is in no way a criticism, btw:)) and well done for bagging it after a disappointing day on the Street.:clap:

The 'circle of friends' is such a beautiful concept and deserves more publicity.

I hope when you have another go at street photography you'll feel more comfortable with it. What sort of lens were you using?

Jean

I love the lighting in this and its as good an interpretation of a crowd as any I've seen :) In fact Three's a Crowd so you're spot on!

I understand your problems on the street, we all suffer that :)

Your comment about controlling the image strikes a chord with me and this weeks I too found hard as it wasn't based on a table top :)
