I'm looking to purchase a hybrid for leisure cycling budget up to £500. I went into my local bike shop who recommended a Bergamont for £450 which came with built in dynamo + mudguards. He said these were very well regarded in Germany and were now attempting to break into the UK market so represented good value for money at that price point.
You can easily fit my knowledge of bikes on the back of a first class so does the Bergamont Helix represent good VFM or should I consider something else. My Google searches didn't find much in the way of reviews other than an Indian site being really positive.
