I think the images show a better view of exactly what happened and all the aftermath too. Some great images.
 
Feels rather ghoulish viewing them...but fascinating nonetheless.
 
Great documentation of such a horrendous natural disaster, and as it's already been said, you don't appreciate the scale of things until you view the images.

I visited NY in Jan of last year and remember some of the places that have been pictured here, the underground stations etc. Will take years for people to come to terms with losing all that they once owned and worked hard for.

Every so often we are reminded of our status on this planet. We (as people) think we are a force to be reckoned with, but planet earth has once again shown us who is truely in charge and we can do nothing but stand back in awe of a force of unequalled magnitude.

This is 'Talk Photography' we are here to view quality images that tell a story, if the photos of Cuba are not posted on here then we cannot feel like you obviously do.
