Maybe someone can help me here,i have the freesat box & i would like to connect to it using wifi.
I have tried it with a long ethernet cable & it works fine, but obviously not practical.
So can anyone point me in the right direction,is it something like a dongle but which one.o_O

If it's the standard to my knowledge u need a Ethernet bridge to do it

Ah well,thats that then

Sorry :-( I know the humax adapter doesn't wok

If the Humax adapters don't work with your box and you don't want to go down the Homeplug route, you could get a wireless bridge that can be powered by USB (providing the Foxsat has USB ports). That way it doesn't take up a power socket and only gets turned on when the box is on

Cheers for that, but i have went down the route of ethernet along the skirting board,it works fine.:)

Ethernet is your best bet. Don't use Homeplugs or other Power line adopters, they are the Devils work. Many countries are trying to get them banned for causing interference everywhere and Ofcom has started a proposal to regulate equipment, including Homeplugs, that causes undue interference.
These PLA's have been known to cause problems for years, at last, something is being done to stop it.

Well i read a bit about that,so i am happy i went the ethernet route.:)
