After 300 million years of evolution, it came to this:

What a bladdy waste. My theory is that the "stupid" genes kicked in at about 30 years ago.
I still do my cartoons on a regular basis (about 1 or 2 a week on average) but this is the first time in ages I've shown one in this fine web site.

I think we quite possibly could be regressing, evolutionarily speaking of course.
We hit a peak of civility about 30-40 years ago, and have been descending back down since. Look at the behaviour of many people nowadays, it's just like animal behaviour towards each other. The fighting etc. It's basic animal stuff, pack instinct, lack of what separates us from animals.
