New to the site, having a good look round, lots and lots of questions to ask! Just got a canon eos 1000d as need to learn how to make the most of it, i only have the basic lens so far and my photography course doesnt start til April so will have to make the best of it
Currently I have been taking family snaps and the odd bit of nature / things covered with frost and ice... but im mostly interested in portraiture, particularly of gothic pin up and fetish styles. I used to model but always felt there was something missing, although i enjoyed it, i got far more excited by what was going on the other side of the camera!
I also am interested in taking photos of roller derby and its amazing players. My sister has her first bout in Feb so im hoping to get some good action shots!
