Hi y'all and thanks for a great site. Looks a tad crowded with all these new posts!
After several months scouring mags & sites I blackmailed Santa (don't ask) for a Nikon D90 - my very first DSLR! - and am now in charge of what seems to look like Mission Control at Houston.
This Hod lives in Northumberland and is therefore spolit for vistas and photo opps. Just need to start "looking" and seeing properly and read the manual and be prepared and and and etc.
Look forward to constructive comments and years of collective experience as I am more newbie'ish than a newbie thing in a brand new place. Also a little shy, so be gentle!
