A colleague photogrpaher who works for Press Association has got the job of shooting Royal Wedding inside Westminster Abbey! Only photographer inside!

Hell what a job and what pressure! Not a time for your card to corrupt or camera to go down. :help:

Not a job Id want, thats for sure.;)

Pressure? With no other photographer present I would suggest that there is hardly any pressure at all - who's going to chose anything else?

Captive market I would say:)

Hmmm, kinda envy and pity them at the same time!

Backup, backup for backup, batteries memory cards and brown trousers!

Not really any more pressure than shooting any other wedding as long as they have all the back up kit that a wedding photographer would normally have. I assume as a press photographer they'd have wireless FTP transfer so even if his card corrupts his images will still get to the editor within seconds.

What you really want to try and avoid is going head over arse and having a TV camera pointing at you so a billion people see it across the world.

There will be TV cameras in there, so if all else fails, the press will just use that HD shot.

Definately pressure, but you would take 3 bodies, an assistant, a load of memory cards and have the FTP, so you just need to make sure your batteries are charged.

However, lets hope he doesn;t sneeze at the wrong moment!

Hope they remember to have some charcoal tablets before going as an outbreak of mis timed flatulence could be very embarrassing...

If he needs any tips, I'm sure there's one or two experienced wedding toggers on here who'll help........

(Its not his first wedding that he's doing for a 'mate' for free though is it? cos if it is they'll tear him a new one!)

:) :) :) brilliant!
