I hate Paypal, with a passion.
Ok, last week I bought a lens with my credit card... or so I thought.
The payment was for £1400 but it wouldn't let me put through the full amount (limit is £1500 and I told them a large payment was going to go through the day before) so I contacted the seller and he said to try two smaller payments. So I put through one payment of £800 and another of £600. As I put through the second one it selected my default debit card which I didn't notice and it pulled £600 from my current account
I have contacted the seller and he is happy to return the £600 if I pay it on my credit card as I explained the situation.
What we're both not sure on is that if the seller cancels the payment will the cash be returned straight into my Paypal account, bank account or what? The payment went through last Thursday so is it even possible for him to cancel the payment?
Again. I hate Paypal even through this is my fault.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as £600 is a lot of money to me :shake:
Thanks in advance,
Brian.
