My daughter is now working away from home for the next few months, there is no wifi or internet access from her digs, so we have been looking at the 3 Huawei E5332 unlocked.
I have been told that this is a decent way of accessing the internet, and seems to have some good reviews and feedback.
As its an unlocked item, would any one know if she is able to use her vodaphone contract sim card from her mobile phone. I have read a little on this but there are disputing comments.

Any one Know please?.

I've a Huawei, and have beed using it for a couple of years. Unfortunately I can't check you suggestion as I have iPhone which uses a smaller SIM card than the Huawei. I use it on the 3 network, as it seems that where I use it 3 is the only network that gives me 3G. Vodafone 02 and EE seem a bit marginal. The 3 rolling monthly data contract works well as I get 10Gb of data for £15 month. ( you can get 5Gb for £10 ) A lot cheaper than opting for a higher data rate with Vodafone.

Tony, out of interest what mobile phone does your daughter have? Depending on the model it may have the facility to create a wireless hotspot which would do exactly the same as the modem you're looking at.
