HTC one m8 and wahoo

Bit obscure this one, but does anyone know if the wahoo app works on the HTC? It's shown in play store, but does that mean it works.
Just got a new wahoo tickr HRM, and it works well with the iphone5. But am seriously considering an HTC as my next phone.
Any views on the HTC also welcome.
 
just tried the wahoo fitness tracker on my M8 and it installs and runs fine but that's as far as iv'e tested it
the wahoo utility ( blue tooth support ) installs and runs fine too

it's not an app i use so couldn't tell you more than this about it

I think the M8 uses Bluetooth 4.0, so that means the heart rate monitor will talk to the app. It should work, but the wahoo site does not inspire too much confidance.

How do you rate the M8?

i think it's very good i upgraded from the HTC one X to the M8 around april last year it's been stable enough , quite smooth to use and battery life is quite reasonable
it runs the apps i use without bother and the audio quality is pretty good, the camera isn't anything to shout about but still good enough for quick snaps if the need arises
i havn't updated to lollipop OS yet as i hear there is some problems with it on the htc one devices ( that might have been rectified since i lasted looked ) i'm waiting til i know for sure it's glitch free

don't know what else i can tell you apart from it's the best android phone i have had and i prefer it to the samsung S5 that my daughter had although the camera seemed better on the S5
