HP309g won't print photos!

My HP309g printer has suddenly decided not to print photos! It keeps saying to put paper in the photo tray - but there's plenty there! The paper cartridge goes into the printer, as it should, but it's not picking up the paper.

Sorry if that isn't making much sense but hopefully someone will understand!

I've googled and it seems to be a common problem but I haven't found a solution yet. Any ideas?

I've tried turning the printer off, reinstalling drivers and have tried printing from different devices with no joy.

Now it won't print normal A4 either. Looks like it's knackered Less than a year old AND I've just spent £50 on new ink :bang:

If it's under a year old doesn't it have manufactures warranty......?

It could be a drive belt gone, or slipped off.

That sounds technical! *gulp*

I'm currently trying to locate the receipt ... If I still have it :-/ I'm terrible with those kinds of things!
