HP Photosmart printers for £39

Have you got any proof that they are getting out? Or is this just a clearance sale for new lines?
 
Do they do any good photo printers? quick look through doesnt suggest anything tasty (apart from the price)

I'm not suggesting HP printers are better or worse than any others, just passing on a link that some may find useful :thumbs:
 
HP getting out of the hardware business is purely the PC/laptops side of things, they have stated they will keep the printer division.

I've yet to find a cheap home printer that has low running costs that I would use. digital prints are so easy to get from pro shops.

I've a very similar printer (next model down I think) and it goes through cartridges like no bodies business and I don't even print photographs!

Quality for bog standard colour printing (letters, leaflets etc) is good but I wouldn't buy another HP printer 'cos of the prince of the cartridges and the speed you need to replace them
