Hi everyone,

I have recently bought a Sigma 24-70 f2.8 for my Canon 30D and am off travelling at the start of February, going to Africa and India.

Was looking at getting a CPL for the lens as a lot of the weather conditions will be bright and sunny (I hope) plus wanted some protection from sand and dirt, etc.

I understand that the Hoya Green Label filters are the bottom tier, but how do the Blue Label ones hold up?

Have seen an 82mm CPL for the Sigma on eBay at just over £30 from HK.

Worth going for?

Thanks,

Marco

By 'Blue Label', I assume you mean the Pro1 series?
If this is the case I bought a 58mm & 67mm CPL via ebay late last year.
Both were from UK sellers, new and their prices were very good compared to HK.
The Pro1 series are very good imo and they were recommended to me by a couple of friends.
