Howdy folks!

A friend of mine recently joined this forum and said it was dead friendly and a good place to get some helpful feedback/advice so I thought I'd drop in!

I currently live in Derby but i'm half scottish/half-geordie and i've lived all over the place. Just recently got into photography after being given one of my Dad's old DSLRs as a joint birthday and christmas present (seriously! i thought that only happened when you were a kid!)

I've done a couple of test runs with my camera, namely a rain-soaked trip to the Isle of Skye and the obligatory trip to the Natural History Museum, but my first 'proper' runout was a recent trip to Twycross Zoo. I've started a thread on that here if you're interested

You have a good camera ,it was introduced it to a lethal combination water and concrete.
