Heeloo everybody

Complete amateur photo virgin here (with questions) Spend a lot of my time watching motorsport so a few months ago I decided to get myself a camera and have a go at taking some pics.

Anyhow, I have been bitten by the bug and now find myself taking pictures of anything that moves.

I didn’t buy anything too technical and possibly even fround upon(Casio FHex20) but if the interest stays I will be looking for something a bit more useful and with a better/telephoto lens.

So my questions, is GIMP an acceptable free s/w for photo editing and does it have the ability to frame a picture.

Would my camera be good enough should I decide to take a course? (Casio EX-FH20)

You might want to resize your pics to a max length of 800px before the pixel police batter down your door at 6am to read you the forum rules. Good shots btw
