Well I am new to this forum. I have always loved photography but never had anything but a point and shoot till about a month ago. My husband and I bought a 350d and I haven't looked back. I'm still kinda stuck using the baby settings but I'm trying more and more to do it on my own. I am an American expat living in West Yorkshire. I love England and hope to never set foot on American soil again! Ok not really but I don't plan on leaving any time soon. Hope ya'll can help me become a better photographer

Saturday in Bradford was the International Festival. This one lady had tons of different candied fruit. I thought the colours and textures of the oranges would make an interesting picture. Actually my first thought was that it would make a heck of a puzzle!

It was decent. It was very crowded and with a 2 1/2 year old and a dog in tow we quickly got tired of fighting our way through. On the other hand we got to eat some stuff we haven't had since we left the continent and that was nice. It is great if you enjoy taking street scenes. I'm not such a people person with photography so I quickly got annoyed!
