Thought id sign up and say howdy, my names Jason, and I've been using a cheapy digital camera for a few years, and thought id join the DSLR world, I've recently purchased a canon 350d (yes an older canon model, but I thought a good camera to start me off), a 18 - 55mm lens, 70 - 300mm and a sigma 105mm macro lens.
Still getting my head around all the settings and gathering some tips from forums like this to help improve and get me out of the "point and shoot" mindset and actualy think of why am i taking this photo, what do i want from this photo, and how can i achieve this.
anyway, off too check out the rest of the forum and learn a little more
