Just for a bit of fun and because we all have seen some fantastic photo receive some dodgy critique What do you think our great TP critiques would have to say about famous historical photographs?

Hey Buzz, This Moon landing photo is great effort, but it looks like the horizon looks a little off to me and the contrast could have been corrected in PP had you not blown the highlights in the spacesuit and the flag mate. Is there any chance Mr Aldrin that you could go back and take the photo when the light is a little less harsh, maybe try taking the pictures during the blue hour to get a little detail in the sky and make the stars pop a little more. Truth be told Buzz I'm not a particular fan of having figures in landscapes can you post some without Neil in the shot so we can compare.

A square crop is a little meh! You could try cropping the bottom to remove those messy footsteps that your mate Neil has left in the soil.

Not bad for your first time shooting that particular location Buzz but when you go back there don’t forget to use those blinkies.

Next time wait till he puts his penis away. This is not a porn shoot.

Make sure the lighting cables are hidden.

Should have used an infinity backdrop to hide the way too close horizon

The flag is clearly comped in!... where's the shadow?!
(Looks a bit 'colour-pop' too...yuck!):giggle:

You'd think with all his expertise and photographic knowledge, that Stanley (Kubrick) would take a better photo than that!!;)
