How would i add some eyes to this?

I took this photo about six months ago of a mate of mine along side Plan B.

Now he has come to me asking if there is any way i could do something to put some eyes on him. The quick edit in MS Paint with the googly eyes apparently isn't good enough, so i want to have another go in photo shop.

I know it's not the best photo in the world, but i do still have the original raw file to work with, and i have plenty of other photos of him i am sure i can use for donor eyes.

But this kind of editing is far past anything i have done before so i am not really sure where to start.
If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be great.

god knows why plan b is even acting up like an idiot to the camera in the first place and why would he be in talk, the most horrible nightclub in Southend lol lol
 
He acts like an idiot because, well, he is.
And he was there because he came along with Chase and Status as he features on one of their tracks. Not that is has much bearing on the original question.


Cheers Lee, but that video doesn't seem to load properly for me, i only see one corner of it.

The only "easy" way is another picture taken at the same time. Anything?
 
I used his buddies right eye and pasted it. I flipped it horizontally and pasted it for the other eye. It was a quick edit but it should be easy to do a better job if you take your time...

I had a similar problem from my daughter's graduation day. James May from Top Gear was receiving an honorary doctorate, and we were lucky enough to grab a photo with him, which totally made her day.

My daughter looks lovely in the first one, but stupid Captain Slow blinked:

In the next one he has managed to keep his eyes open, but my daughter is out of focus:

Good enough at first glance if you didn't know.

As for the OP, it indicates that even with the subject's actual eyes shot from pretty much the same angle, it doesn't take much for it to be noticeable that it's been faked.
 
Adding eyes to the OPs shot is not difficult.

Ideally you would've like another shot of the subject at roughly the same angle.

Lighting matters little, they're so small and simple you can tweak the WB and exposure in post.
 
Not difficult, especially when you shoot burst you can usuallly find a frame you can use to transplant the eyes.
