How was this lit?

I can sort your picture linking issue out, but I haven't a clue about lighting ;)

its much easier to right click on the image you want to link too and then post the URL to that rather than trying to link to a page.

I think it is available light. The hole in the foliage behind the girl gives her a hair light and a pool of light for the boy. I think there must also be an opening in foliage cover off camera to camera left. The highlight on her cheek and eyelid is quite strong and I wondered if it was a strobe through a big diffusion panel but the light wraps round so beautifully...and I can't see any shadows or highlights in the foliage from the strobe.

I'm guessing it is just a bright overcast day shot in open shade with available light only - or it is lit with by a master photographer who has beautifully and delicately made it look that way.

The light on the girl is coming from the side. I would say one large light camera left at 90 deg to the girl and then given the amount of light on the boy a large soft box (there isnt much bleed onto the girl (just on her left hand) so I am guessing a large softbox/gridded light set quite high firing down on him from camera right firing almost straight towards him.
