:)"Everyone has a photographic memory. Some people just dont have any film!"

A friend of mine posted this tonight on Facebook and it made me think ......

How many of us have a photograph of a particular memory that is special to us, and expresses the moment (whatever it is)?

I hope this tugs at the memory strings and makes you rummage the photo files or albums (please feel free to scan and upload old images too, no matter how faded or dog-eared they are ..... hmmmmm, my ice breaker being a good example  would love to know what equipment and film the tog was using way back then so I can AVOID, not that I would have been too concerned (circa 1986) and my first year of drink ....say no more ...... ;))

OMG this is such a poor image (but then granted it has been stuck in a sticky photo album for the last 25 years).

Look forward to some fun here....... (surprise us!!!!!)

D :)

P.S., The first night ever that I got drunk and had a serious case of alcohol poisoning! :gag: So this is a real memory bank pic

Loads of memories like that but the photos tend to be awful. This is myself and some friends arriving on our first Greek island thirtymphgfpgf years ago, two out of the five us were keen photographers so there are loads of photographs. This one sparked a memory because of the guy on the right. His entire luggage for the two week holiday was the plastic carrier bag in his right hand!

We camped the first night and the tent blew away so spent the rest of the holiday in 'hotels', had a fantastic time. Favourite island was Mykonos, we pretty much lived in a taverna near our rooming house. The first night there (being Scots) we were supping away and it was getting late so we asked the owner "When do you close?" he said "Eh!.. maybe october!" We fell about laughing and the phrase has stayed with us ever since.

 that is a fantastic storey, thanks for sharing the photo and the memory.
