I have got a picture of my daughter. Now there are some marks on here top which I want to remove. Can someone point me in the right direction to a tutorial for doing this in cs5 please.

depends on the marks - but look for Cloning tutorials for a start
or post pic here so someone can make a better judgement

cs5 has content aware so should fill in automatically with the spot removal thing post the pic so we can see what marks they are

Perhaps find a tutorial demonstrating the clone tool ~ it's what I use for my retouching.
