When I try to transfer my edited raw images from Canon's Digital Photo Professional (can't remember which version I've got but I can find out if needs be) to Photoshop CS3, the resulting Tiff image in CS3 doesn't seem to include the edits that I've made in DPP, particularly changes to saturation and colour temperature.

This seems to be the case with which ever of the following two methods of transfer that I've used:

a) saving the raw image in DPP and then clicking 'transfer to photoshop'
b) saving the raw image in DPP, clicking on convert and save, saving as an 8-bit Tiff and then opening the resulting Tiff file in CS3.

Am I doing something wrong or missing something here?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give :)

Tom, thanks for finding that link for me, just reading through it now....

Photoshop ( whichever version )may have trouble reading XMP files from Canon software. Adobe only cracked the compliance between Lightroom and Photoshop with CS5 if my memory serves me correctly. To export from DPP you'll need to convert the image either to TIFF or JPEG. DPP will apply those changes and render the image for you. It can then be passed to Photoshop

Thanks guys, as a couple of you have said, it seems that you need to convert to a 16-bit Tiff image before transferring to Photoshop. That seems to record most of the changes but not colour temperature?
