How to send a heavy file to my friend?

Hi

How do i send a file which is about 25 mb in size to my friend via web? Email doesnot take a file that heavy.

Can i upload the file on a site and provide the link to him? If so which tool and website do i use, can i do that with google docs or something like that?

Pls suggest a simple and quick way to pass the file.

Unashamed recommendation link, which will give both of us a further 5gb free space, above the regular 5gb so, 10gb for you initially.
 
Dropbox, they added the ability for you to upload a file and then create a link to just that file, they don't need to use dropbox
 
Skydrive. you can share a file of zipped folder and email your friend a web link to download the file
 
Another vote for dropbox. Skydive seems a bit slow.

Dropbox is brilliant, although it does mean you have to upload the file first before sending.

Another easy way to send big files by email is http://ge.tt/.
 
Dropbox, Skydrive or Google drive.

Google and Dropbox both allow file sharing with other accounts. Never used the other.
