I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, but as I see alot of "can I trust xxx" posts here it may be useful.
Theres a website called http://www.trustpilot.com, here you can enter the website details and it basically has customer feedback.
There are a couple of plugins so you can straight from the browser their rating, such as this one for Chrome, their own site has ones for Firefox & IE.
Of course if you still need to check do the usual google maps, search by phone number, check the website registration details etc, but its a good starting point.
