Edit My Images
Yes
i was just thinking

if i have a raw picture in ps, save as jpeg to desk top, then upload to photobucket or another will it be a lower resolution or do you have to lower it yourself.

im not worried about people taken my pics but just wandered

mat

or if i had a website and upload the jpegs could people just save them to there computer

Depends on the website you upload to, you'll have to check. e.g. flickr will give you a range of sizes, including your hi-res, should you upload them.
And yes, whatever images you upload to a website someone will be able to download, unelss you store them is a privte password protected area for instance.

i just realised in ps it gives the option to

save
save as
save for web

whats the difference with the save for web one

mat

save for web will bring up all the options you might need when saving an image for web. e.g. file format, optimise to size, etc.
