how to remove teething rosie cheeks photoshop

got a couple of images of my kids where they have very rosie cheeks rom teething and id like to remove it whats the best way is it the clone tool or is there another method

I would first try Selective Colour - in Red remember to move the yellow and cyan and black sliders as well and vice versa to see which gives the colour you think best

Try a hue/sat layer mash and target the reds then reduce the saturation.

As suggested what you need to do is reduce the red saturation. How you do it depends on what software you are using . In Lightroom it's dead esay using the local adjustment tool to locally reduce the red saturation. The same tool is available in the ACR module in Photoshop. Otherwise you could try a global red saturation reduction, provided this doesn't upset the rest of the image, otherwise it's a masking job. Not difficult though
