I did receive an email a few weeks back from the Lencarta blog with some amazing studio photographs of the ice bucket challenge.
On Friday my better half was challenged to do the ice bucket thing. So yesterday she and my Daughter did it. I thought I would try and grab a few photos and maybe use my speedlights, as I thought that just using natural light may not look the best. Not sure if that's the case. It was a dull day and photos were taken at 6.45pm.
I posted here as it is lighting I would like to learn.
Would like to know where it would have been best to place my speedlights.
I used 3 bare speedlights. One at the rear to the right about 7ft away and two speedlights one either side and slightly in front I think you would call then at 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock (guessing on the lingo used there).
A million miles from the studio shots I saw but was good fun and I hope you people can offer some help.
