We had a demonstration by member Bob Wright on 'Table-top' photography at Brentwood & District Photographic Club and I was there to take Publicity Photos for the Club Facebook and local newspaper the 'Brentwood Gazette'
He showed 2 set-ups, one with multiple flash with 'slave units' and the other lit by LED strip lights giving a 'Daylight' White Balance. I used my Pentax K10D + 35-80mm f4-5.6 SMC Pentax-F + Mecablitz 45CL3 bounced. I took some at ISO 400 ans some at ISO 800 and did a small 'correction' in the flash white balance because of the yellowish walls and ceiling and the snaps came out well -- ( I think so ! )

Good images backed up by a thoughtful storyline.
Hope they were well used in your local paper.
Why do all your Club photographers wear spectacles?

Looks just like our club !
Yes photos turned out fine. I find myself wanting to see the results of the demo though ?

I would have to ask Bob Wright to supply me with some images to upload on here --

Those blue Maplin LED torches are excellent for local even flood fill lighting -- cheap too! There's always one in my bag.

Some from over his shoulder would have completed the story...big gap in the story without that. The one question that comes into my mind from your picture is ' what is he photographing?'
