how to distract a rally driver and it works

great idea, put a doll in a dangerous place waving a red flag, what a great idea, no wonder the guy slowed to a stop straight away mid corner... hope someone had stern words for them!

you've got to wonder what sort of assclown thinks thats funny, next they;ll be putting the doll lying down in the road..

agreed , that was about as funny as a heart attack :bang:

Driver did exactly what i would expect him to do on seeing a waved red flag, no matter what or who was holding it, you never know what is round a blind corner, im surprised he didnt spin the arse end of the car round and take the dummy out to stop somebody else being distracted needlessly !

about as funny as the eejits who spread loose stones on fast corners on tarmac rallies so that the cars will spin

Now although i agree the driver did as required by redflag etc and yes could have dangerous. But got to admit to laughing. The bit i cannot understand is why there werent a marshall at that location.

looks like we have some Daily Mail Rally fans on this forum.

How can you possibly not find this funny?

I am no a rally fan but I don't find it funny. It added a risk to the driver and maybe onlookers as he took action to avoid. Its a bit like the idiots who shine lasers at sports events, for me!

Dunc

It's both I'm afraid. Funny... YES. Stupid... YES.

Some things are just like that.
