How to create a fairy glow effect... Help

OK... I'm doing a shoot for a local play this weekend which is to involve kids dressed up as fairies.
I can shoot the kids and cut them out ok, but I want to put them against another scene with a fairy like glow and dust around them.
Does anyone know how I could do this in CS2?
