How to control speedlights from camera?

I've 3 Nikon Speedlights (2x910's&1x700)
I use these mostly in manual and fire them using yongnuo RF-603N transceivers.
I find myself running back and forth turning power up and down.
Can i control this any other way. I'm not quite sure how the SU-800 works, would this do the trick?

What model of camera do you have. You can do this with the in board flash if the model is cls compatible. Alternatively the yongnuo 622's are capable of this.

As good as any, better than most, easily the best value option. Though there are quite a few others.
 
Had the same problem, albeit with Canon gear.
As above 622 on the flash units and 622TX on camera. Works just fine. Just make sure you get the Nikon variety!!!
 
Pocket wizards TT1 & TT5 with an AC3 controller do it quiet well on Nikons, and very simple to use too, having said that they work out quite pricey, if I hadn't already invested In a PW set up I would definitely be going down the Yongnou route

I went the Yongnuo route on my SB-800's, never failed.

If your flash is CLS compatible you can control the flash output in the camera's menu. I have a D610 also and use an SB-800 off camera. If the on board flash is set to commander mode you can alter the off-camera flash power in-camera.

Put the commander menu at the top of your "My Menu". Next assign one if the buttons not used in picture taking (video record button for example) to access the top item in your My Menu. I use the AE lock button on my Nikon bodies as I have no use for AE lock.

Then you can just press that button to instantly go to the commander menu and adjust flash power.
