How this done?????

Not sure if in right place. But how do people take or edit photo such ad items with White background keeping the subject standing out nicely?

Do you mean the cutting out bit or the background bit?

Have a white (or light coloured) background and aim a flash at it. The background will be over exposed and look white.
For cutting out the background in Photoshop there are several methods. Pen tool, Quick Selection and layer masks are the most common i can think of.

You don't need to over expose the background, exposed correctly white is white.

As Wayne says you don't need to overexpose the background, however it does need to be illuminated properly. A single flash illuminating both may not do the job correctly, plus you don't want the subject too close to the background as you may get some "Light wash" spilling on to the subject.

I would light the subject normally then use a background light to give about 1 stop more exposure to the background . This ensures the background is well lit but not blown out.
