Just returned home to find a Royal Mail note, but not to say because no one was in to sign for a parcel... sender didn pay enough for postage! :cuckoo:£1.27 is the amount, which I think £1 is the stupid RM fee. I'll get proof of payment, etc, so I'll request a reimbursement from the senders. I won't name and shame but I ordered a new Lowepro Slingshot 300.

Was it something you bought off an individual or a shop?

If it was a shop i'd wind into them for it, if it was an individual then mistakes happen and i'd probably just ask for the money it cost me.

A 100% feedback seller on eBay with a decent bricks and mortar store.

A friend just returned a lens cap I left at their house, same story £1.06 to pay - of which £1 is handling admin!!!

the post price have just gone up - mistakes happen...

Handling and Admin fees, not really based on reality are they?

I had a new PC delivered (nice it is too :) ) the day before yesterday and #i wasnt it to collect it, so they carted it back 27 miles to the parcelforce depo andgave me an option to have it delivered to my local post office for the cost of 50p.

WHY WHY WHY !!!

Take it to the post office and I will go and pick it up, you wont have to drive another 27 miles home, 27 miles back and then to the post office. which is round the corner from my house. :cuckoo:

similar thing happen to me on eBay i bought an item from an individual, when i received it there was no stamp or posted paid, i wouldn't pay the posted cost and told royal mail to return to sender, the next day royal mail posted back to me for free!!

mine tried to deliver, i was out. now gotta drive 20 minutes to pick up whatever they tried to drop off. and theyre only open mon to sat in the bloody morning. why cant they just drop it at the post office at the top of the road as standard. be a lot bloody easier
