There was a huge fire in Burnley tonight, took my camera and hey presto no bloody memory card :bang: I am really peed. Second time i've done it now, :bonk:

You take your memory card out!?!?

I tend to transfer direct from camera to 'puter. On the rare occasion the card is in danger of being filled up, it is taken out to be immediately replaced by another. The card door is never closed without a card within.

Sometimes I forget to take my pants...

Never a memory card though. I have got to a shoot before and then thought, 'oh ****, did I transfer the pictures on the card lastnight.'
 
I go to take a picture. Press the shutter and think 'that is going to be great'



















Fogot to turn the bloody camera on :lol: :bang:
 
my camera always stay on,

have formatted my card in camera after thinking that i had xfrd pics but then realised this wasnt the case when i tried to hunt for them the next day :bang:
 
I once went out been waking about 1hr went to take a photo, Damn NO Battery, :bang:

Did that last weeked in Skye with EG we walked about mile or so so get shot I set camera up on tripod to take shot.Batteries dead I`d forgot charge them from previous day :bonk: and the light was nice too :(
 
Been there done it .... buy new card for the bag it works for me:thumbs:

In 1982 my cousin drove 200 miles to watch the fleet returning from the Falklands war, he borrowed a cine camera but couldn't find any sound film anywhere so he bought silent film as it was better than nothing.

He filmed the whole spectacle of the ships coming in, fire tenders with their hoses shooting high into the air, thousands of sailors stood on deck

when the film ran out he put the camera down and absorbed the atmosphere of the day, when it was all over he picked the camera up and noticed he'd left the lens cap on, no film recorded, not even any sound, to say he was gutted was an understatement
