Great service from Manfrotto/Gitzo, but surprised at how much this little bit of plastic cost

It fits in the oval opening and protrudes slightly to fit in the centre columns groove, including vat and postage it was just under eleven quid

Better last for ever now, what's your highest priced p*** ant little spare part

I lost a little plastic clip off my Manfrotto tripod and while the part was expensive enough (£6 for a bit of plastic IIRC) it was the £5 postage and packing that killed it for me. I can get stuff on fleabay delivered from China for free but they want £5 to put a tiny piece of plastic in an envelope. I fabricated my own part in the end from aluminium, it's better and cheaper!
