how much?

what was the name of tha curly haired laddy who was an antiques expert, then went a bit off the rails and had a sex change? *ponders*

I missed all this as I was living abroad at the time. But on reading the wiki page about him it was interesting to note a couple of things in common with another more recent and often derided personality. Can you spot who from this extract:

Having been taken as a child to see a doctor about his female mannerisms, soon after his father's conviction James decided to change his name to Lauren and explore sex reassignment surgery, which he undertook in 2001, paid for by publicity arranged by Max Clifford. In 2005, she appeared on Big Brother's Big Mouth to discuss the contestants on Big Brother,http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lauren_Harries#cite_note-8http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lauren_Harries#cite_note-9 and in both 2007 and again in 2008 it was rumoured in the national press that she would participate as a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lauren_Harries#cite_note-10http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lauren_Harries#cite_note-Guard1-0

:naughty:

did anyone know this darren toogood had his computer and phone seized due to indecent exposures on webcams and threatening behaviour? bet he doesn't tell his "clients" that ;)

We won't be seeing a response here then I guess?

not particularly, JO - you ****ing idiot

people have to know who this joker is

Whether it's true or not that's no way to speak to forum members, and that's likely to get you supsnded or banned, so wind your neck in :nono:

LOL too late. He can have at least a week off for that. I'm tempted to make it permanent though.

Just as long as he doesn't let the door hit him on the way out, we don't want ass prints on our nice shiny doors, do we?

i think he left a bit too fast for the door to catch him

 Can't see him being too bothered though, seems he was only here spoiling for a fight anyway! :bang:

Can't have anyone insulting our Jo :bat:
Especially not jumped up little kids.

I really don't like the tone of your posts so far, and that isn't the sort of comment that's needed, and nor are most of your others in this thread. If I was a mod I'd be asking you to keep it nice and not to be quite so patronising.

And as for your comment about gear, it makes no difference what gear a person uses. I use a Nikon D40, a so-called entry level camera as you might like to think, but it doesn't stop me producing work that's been published.

+1 I was reading through and wondering why no one was commenting on this guys attitude but you did .

mastertrinity is 'getting off their backside' but he/she is checking out here first what would be the best way to go about things.

That's hat this place is for

Now then, are we sure cold calling is illegal? Doesn't stop scottish power etc etc calling at my door trying to get me to change suppliers.

Aye, they get told to sod off as well................:D

It's good to see that the system works.

As for the original question, I don't know how much to charge but I must say that I am still gathering nerves to venture into the photo-selling business. Not for a living, heck no, I don't have neither the nerves nor the skills for that, but it would be nice if my hobby would go towards paying itself.
My advice would be to create a decent portfolio first. I haven't seen any of your photos and I don't know your skills, and I don't think it matters either. Create a portfolio with your BEST images, even if that means to wait for some time to get the images you are 100% happy with. If you think your photos are worth it, then get some genuine critique (and what better place than here?), keep your head up, and you have all the time in the world to achieve your dreams.

Given that he only seems to have registered in order to post what he did I think you've been very lenient. Don't you try to tell me that you haven't got one of those buttons that sends 50,000 volt through a user's keyboard! ;)

With regards to the age... I do not reveal my age to clients and have no need to. The service I provide is just as good as anyone else on the Island and my age has never stopped me doing work. You don't have to reveal your age unless it is a safety problem.

Gav, I do indeed go to school but I spend all my free time on photograhy.

As a 15 year old covering 'events' how do you go on for indmenity and public liability insurance? Last thing you want is someone tripping over your equipment and suing you.

Also for certain events i need to be CRB'd - how would a 15 year old go on for this
