Hey guys,

I currently run an online store (not photography related; Designer clothes actually), but I have a few contacts for SD cards and digital memory - all genuine of course!

I may be being these in bulk soon; so what would be your ideal price for Official Genuine Sandisk/Transcend SD Cards? If there is enough demand, I may be able to sell them on here soon hopefully! :)

I can get 2GB, 4GB and higher.. Let me know prices in this thread and I will see if I will be able to get them cheap enough :)

Rob :)

Well, I would be able to sell Samsung 2GB SD Cards for around £6.90 inc. delivery.. They seem to be around £8 online inc. delivery for certain brands?

Are Samsung ones likely to be good or is Sandisk the brand used by most?

Thanks,
Rob.

A saving of £1.10 wouldn't get my juices flowing. SD cards are the kind of item I would just add to an existing order usually with a supplier I am using already for something else. I wouldn't NOT buy one from another store but for £1 I couldn't be bothered filling in another online page. Bought an 8gb Sandisk 30Mb/s for £19.99 and a Lexar 4Gb 45mb/s for £19 but I was buying things already.

Ah I see, so its not really the the thing that people go out of their way to buy then?

I wouldn't be selling on a website btw, just through the Selling forums on here. Hoping to save up money to buy my first camera and this came to thought!

Rob :)

No profiteering* : Selling or dealing in items that the staff believe have been purchased for profit is not permitted.

You will find the above in the rules. Have a read.:)

So you are only allowed to sell items on here if you are making a loss?

Rob. :D

Not quite what it means no.
Selling stuff that you own is fine and, I believe, that if you happen to make a profit that is all well and good. Buying stuff deliberately to sell on here at a profit is what is frowned upon.
Ebay would be a more appropriate place for that.

Oh okay; Thanks for the help!

Rob
