I just wondered how long everyone else spends editing their pictures?

I have CS5 and lightroom but i'm constantly switching between them and can spends hours going through pictures, half my problem is perfection... especially now i've started shooting only RAW as they are nearly all in need need of something....Reluctant to go back to jpeg as what looks like a lost image when shot in RAW can become something stunning.

I can easily spend my whole evening after the kids have gone to bed just sat in front of the computer..... much to my wifes dismay. I swear she thinks there is some magical '1 click' edit that everyone else uses apart from me.

I am no expert but a spend around 5 mins tops on each shot in Lightroom, if I want B&W then longer when I take it into Silver efex 2
 
Same as Christine more or less, could be a few seconds to hours per shot depending on whats being done.

As little as possible here, if I were to work on 5 minutes per image just in light-room alone, on a set of 300 images, give me a moment trying to make sure I add this up right.

12 images per hour, quick add up in excel = 25 hours :eek:

I batch edit, get it as right in camera, what ever possible to avoid that^^ scenario, and usually the migraines that come with it :(
 
I find that things shot in artificial light often don't have correct WB straight out of the camera (I usually have Auto WB set when shooting indoors/at night).

Shots taken in daylight rarely seem to need tweaking.
 
As per Christine and Wayne really, no generic answer covers all shots unfortunately.
 
Totally depends on what I'm trying to achieve. From 30 seconds with basic corrections on an album with lots of samey photos, to hours pondering over how to edit that special shot :D
 
Judging by the comments I get, not long enough :D
