I got an email this morning and it states as follows:

--------------------------------------------------------
Hello,

One of our clients is interested in buying your domain photocoach.info.

1. Are you interested in selling?

2, What is your initial asking price?

Sincerely,

Exclusive Domain Investments

----------------------------------------------------------

Questions:
1. Wonder if these guys are genuine? [Email came from a gmail account]
2. How much should I quote initially so that the buyer is still interested in buying?

sounds like spam. gmail, not a proper account? dodgy

I'd be wary of anything like this. Recently a workmates girlfriend received a letter from a firm claiming they had a client ready and waiting to make an offer on their time share holiday. She let them know she might be interested. She was told the offer was in the region of at least £12,000. Then she received a letter asking for 1200 euros to get things rolling, strange enough she never heard any alarm bells ringing at this point. She paid the money, then her daughter googled the company name and found they were scammers.
I'd at least google the name of the company that contacted you, you should at least get a clue as to whether they are genuine.

Looks like it might be a scam from some quick web searches - did it have anything on the bottom about car insurance ?

Now that you ask, it did :gag:

It had this.........

Note to all existing clients: We have 16 cars registered to our company for our management team. As such, our insurance rates our very high. Danny Goldberg (our PR Manager) came accross an insurance search site that's saving us $50 per car/month. That's $800 month in savings. There's no charge for the search, so I suggest you check it out:

Take a chill pill Kipax :D You sound like my dad

i dont think he meant to be mean Kipax, im thats the case

I was trying to be helpful... sorry i bothered :(

Sincere Apologies Kipax if you felt bad. Definitely did not meant that way. It's just that we are a CCTV frenzy nations and sometimes just to get to my bank account I have to go atleast 4 security checks [Of course the B******s banks want to keep safe for themselves and put it as customer safety] and that get annoying.

I think I am losing patience along with my hair with these spammers etc so an appropriate answer was inevitable.
