Bought myself a DX Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G a couple weeks ago. Now I'm aware this lens is known to have some distortion issues, however I'm a little concerned mine may be exhibiting a bit too much. Being a comeplete noob to this whole photo malarky what's the best way to tell if I should be going back to speak the retailer or not?
 
So what you're saying is 'shutup and spring the 100 quid for some decent software'. Damnit, I've been trying to avoid that. :)

it should have been your first purchase to be fair, unless you want to go for full photoshop or something else like Capture1
 
I think what daugirdas is trying to say is it is about the most popular post processing tool for photographers, its reasonably priced compared to other Adobe products.

And it can adjust your photos and fix known lens/camera issues in a click.

Its batch processing capabilities are second to none and it may improve/rescue shots that otherwise would of ends up in the bin..

Trust us - buy it, it will pay for itself very quickly if shoot often.
