This isnt a sublime advert.. I ahve enough posts to put this in the for sale.. But I honestly have no idea of its worth.. I ahve googled.. I ahve looked on other forums and I have looked on this one.. there dosent seem to be simmilar to what I wanna sell.

So can anyone price this for me

Canon fit - Sigma 70-200 f2.8 that I ahve had for quite a few years so its the none DG version and certainly the none macro? which some would say mine is the better version.

Its seen its day on the outside.. all sigma lenses suffer from coating coming off and this has lost all in one part.. it looks well used but hasnt got any dents or anything

The glass has always had a filter on so is bob on as they say ..

Having used it for many years its obviously a good copy :)

I am getting a canon 2.8L IS so need to offload this but buggered if I know how much

Do a search for completed listing on Ebay.

My guess would be about £300-£325.

This does sounds like an Ad. tbh as we don't need to know that its always had a filter on, and its an alledged good copy if you are price searching ;)
 
i did search ebay and only found a dg for 450

of course you would need to know that info.. a poorly kept lens is worth less than a good one....surely ? my post is the same as any other post on here.. i am looking for info and advice that i cant seem to find anywhere else..

£450 sounds high, but who knows for Ebay.

I sold a MKII here for £375 a while back IIRC (absolutely mint), so anything over that seems optimist.
 
Good grief no.. I said i found a dg version ..its like brand new hardly used... in sigma 70-200 thats all i could find anywhere.. all dg and like new.. hence why looking for advice with this one which isnt anywhere near that..

hmmm got an idea now :)
 
MKII as in 2 versions newer than the one you are not trying to sell here :)

Yep amde it quite clear its the dg and not the other versions.. tell you one thing though.. bet the pics stand up against any other version.. used it on the 10d originally for sport.. printed posters with it.. bang on :)

i just wanted a price.. have taken pics of it and am gonna put in for sale now... what does it matter if it sold in here or in there... i didnt have a clue on its worth so i asked.. simple as that.. read into what you will... and yes I have had two pms about it already... i cant help that.. i was mithering what to charge so asked :)

if we where charged to sell things in one section and i put it in here then that would be sneaky.. but nowt sneaky here :)

my ex has just sold for £340 on ebay.. i am also in the quest for a 70-200mm is just cant find any stock or decent price at the minute??

Put it on for the higher price and see if you get any offers. At least you can drop a bit from a higher price if necessary, and with the way things are going up at the moment you may well get it.
 
thanks peeps...thats what i ahve done susie.. i put it on and i have had 3 or 4 sniffs at it.. but not even got my lower price.. close but on the first day of sale i aint dropping too much.. need delivery paid for and a certain price... its worth it./. i am confident i wont be going to ebay wiht it :)
