How much does it cost to post a DVD?

Just going through some stuff to sell and wanted to know how much a typical DVD is to post - anyone posted similar recently. Would be great to know what a single DVD and say a small box set (like a Sex in the City series X). Saves me a trip to the PO this week!
 
Think you can get away with posting a single one "large letter", for which there is a maximum charge of £2.30 for up to 750g
 
Just a DVD (no case etc) should be the same as a normal letter but add even a jewel case and it's too thick. If I have to send one (of images or files), I slip it in a paper case and a normal envelope - if it gets mangled, I redo and repost, still cheaper than a small package/large letter.
 
Yes its large letter dimensions however you might find the post office will try and put it in a a small packet so make sure they don't.
