that all depends on the light at the time and location of taking the shot!

To slow things down go as low ISO as you can (100) and also small aperture (say f22)

If your camera indicates say 1/4 second exposure your filters will then work up the stops for you - then each stop will double the exposure time - firstly to 1/2s then 1s then 2s etc.

So in this example a 3 stop or 0.9ND filter is what you need for a 2 second exposure.
